Lando Norris has trimmed McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri’s lead in the drivers’ world championship to just nine points, after last night winning by just 0.698 seconds in a thrilling finish at the Hungarian Grand Prix.

The 25-year-old, who moved from a two-stop strategy to one stop, held off series leader Piastri over the closing laps to claim McLaren’s 200th victory and their record 13th win in Hungary.
It was Norris’s first win at the venue in the event’s 40th race, his fifth victory of the season and the ninth of his career.
Mercedes' George Russell was more than 20 seconds behind in third place, while Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso rounded out the top five.
A disastrous day for Max Verstappen saw him finish 9th, earning just two championship points.
Piastri leads the driver standings with 284 points, ahead of Norris with 275, and Verstappen a long way behind in third with 187.
