NSW Farmers Launches One-dollar Membership Campaign

NSW Farmers has launched a new $1 membership campaign ahead of next year's state election, in an effort to strengthen its membership base and give farmers a stronger collective voice.

The organisation says a larger membership will help it have greater influence on issues affecting farmers and agriculture, particularly with regional and rural electorates expected to be closely contested at the March election.

New members will receive access to the organisation’s full range of benefits until March 2027, before moving onto a standard 12-month membership, with the option to opt out during the offer period.

NSW Farmers CEO Annabel Johnson says a stronger membership base will give farmers greater influence over the policies of all political parties.

She says issues including water, biosecurity, workforce, energy, regional infrastructure and native vegetation will all have implications for agriculture.
