Yarriambiack Shire to host Road Management Plan Consultation

Yarriambiack Shire Council will host a series of information sessions later this month to seek input on its Draft Road Management Plan and Road Hierarchy.


Council's Road Management Plan aims to establish a management system for the road management functions Effectively, the plan will lay out Council's priorities for road maintenance.


As part of this process, Council staff will be hosting community consultations across the Shire to meet with residents and discuss the roads that are important to them. The community consultations will be COVID safe events.


The first sessions in the series will be held on Monday, February 14th. A morning session will be held between 9 am and 11 am at the Patchewollock Community Centre. This will be followed by an afternoon session between 1 pm and 3 pm at the Speed Rec Reserve.


On Wednesday, February 16th a session is planned for the Lascelles Hotel between 10 am and 11 am, followed by an afternoon session at Woomerland Town Hall between 1 pm and 3 pm.


The final sessions for the week will be held on Friday, February 18th. A morning workshop will be held at the Beleuh Memorial Hall between 9 am and 10 am followed by the Brim Community Centre between 11 am and Midday.
