Week one of the AFLW finals will feature first-timers Sydney and Essendon away to Gold Coast and Geelong, along with a pair of blockbuster qualifying finals.
WEEK ONE AFLW FINALS
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11
First Qualifying Final
Adelaide v Brisbane Lions, Norwood Oval, 3.05pm AEDT
The minor premier Crows will start favourites but are wary of a talented and dangerous opponent that inflicted their only defeat of the home-and-away season.
First Elimination Final
Gold Coast v Sydney, Heritage Bank Stadium, 7.15pm AEDT
The Suns were hammered in their only finals appearance to date, back in 2020, and are without injured star Charlie Rowbottom as they face another side chasing their first finals win.
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12
Second Elimination Final
Geelong v Essendon, GMHBA Stadium, 1.05pm AEDT
The Bombers lost two of their last three home-and-away games but beat the Cats in their earlier meeting this season as gun midfielder Maddy Prespakis took bragging rights over younger sister Georgie.
Second Qualifying Final
Melbourne v North Melbourne, Ikon Park, 3.05pm AEDT
The Demons aren't the unstoppable force they once were but they will still take some beating after comfortably accounting for the Kangaroos in round eight.
