Adelaide veteran Taylor Walker will extend his AFL career into a remarkable 19th season, after signing a one-year contract extension with the Crows.
The 35-year-old forward remains a key figure at the club, finishing the 2025 season with 39 goals from 23 games, as Adelaide claimed the minor premiership before exiting the finals in straight sets. He remains the club's all-time leading goalkicker with 680 majors.
Walker also moved into the top five for most games played by a Crow, reaching 301 appearances since his debut in 2009. Only Andrew McLeod, Tyson Edwards, Mark Ricciuto and Ben Hart have played more.
Club officials praised Walker’s leadership and professionalism, with list manager Justin Reid saying the veteran "continues to drive standards" both on and off the field. Head coach Matthew Nicks added that Walker remains an influential figure across the playing group.
Walker said he was excited to continue helping the team grow and is optimistic about what the Crows can achieve in 2026.
