Police investigating the sudden death of an elderly woman at Gawler South are treating the death as an unexplained death. SAPOL has launched an investigation as to the cause and circumstances of her death.
Police and paramedics were called to a home in Seventh Street, Gawler South at midday Friday 15 October. The 63-year-old female occupant was found deceased inside the property. Major Crime detectives and crime scene investigators have investigated the scene with Police to prepare a report for the State Coroner.
A 54-year-old Gawler South woman was arrested for an assault that allegedly occurred at the premises on Thursday night.
She was initially refused police bail however following a Magistrate's review, was granted bail to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 23 November.
