Police hunt for chemist robber continues

Gawler Police are investigating a chemist robbery at Hewett from Wednesday afternoon.

At 3 pm on Wednesday, a man allegedly armed with a firearm approached the staff of the chemist on Kingfisher Drive and demanded cash.

The man took cash and left on foot, heading towards Wren Place. No one was injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as about 183cm tall with a pale complexion, slim build and aged in his mid to late 20’s.

He was wearing light grey shorts and an orange and blacktop underneath a grey hoody.

Police searched the area for the suspect but were not able to locate him.
