As more farmers across the state begin harvest, 11 Bunge sites in South Australia received their first deliveries for the 2026–27 season last week.

The company’s latest report shows harvest activity increased, with more than 82-thousand tonnes delivered across 16 sites, following improved conditions after rain in some areas the previous weekend.

Deliveries to sites on the Eyre Peninsula accounted for the vast majority of the week’s total, with deliveries beginning at Port Neill, Rudall, Witera, Cummins, Lock and Tumby Bay.

Bowmans, Roseworthy, Wallaroo, Inner Harbour and Tailem Bend also received their first loads.

Barley was the major commodity, with wheat, canola and lentils also delivered across the network.
