North Melbourne AFLW’s Historic Winning Streak

North Melbourne’s AFLW team is closing in on a slice of history, notching up their 20th straight win with a dominant performance over Sydney on the weekend.

The reigning premiers crushed the Swans by 68 points in Launceston, putting them just three wins away from equalling Geelong’s all-time VFL/AFL record of 23 consecutive victories.

Midfielder Ash Riddell was once again a standout, breaking the AFLW record for disposals in a game for the third time this season, finishing with an incredible 45 touches.

The Kangaroos haven’t lost a match since the 2023 grand final, and now sit undefeated on top of the ladder, with 8 wins and 32 points.
