Murrayville in rude health switching leagues in 2023

Keep on truckin' - Murrayville takes strong junior form into their new league

Murrayville Football Club President Kieran Kelly has told the Flow Friday Sports Show that the club is in a healthy space as departs the now defunct Mallee Football League for the 2023 season.

While the league the club will enter into next year remains unconfirmed for the time being, speculation strongly links the club to joining the newly independent Murray Valley Football and Netball League, formerly known as the Riverland Independents.

Kelly said with the help of Adelaide-based players continuing to represent the club at senior level and with a strong juniors list, the club can continue to hunt trophies in the years to come.

The club performed well in 2022, with the Reserves Grade and U16s winning Grand Finals in what ended up being Mallee football's swansong season.
