Three-time premiership winning Hawk Luke Bruest has announced this season will be his last.

The 34-year-old was a key part of the Hawks’ three premierships between 2013-2015, and has kicked 552 goals in 306 career games.
In addition to his three premiership medals, Bruest is a two-time All-Australian, and led Hawthorn's goal kicking on five occassions between 2018-2023.
Breust is set to play his 307th career game if selected for the round 23 clash against Melbourne, equalling Sam Mitchell's mark for the third-most games in Hawthorn history, and will be hoping to be a part of Hawthorn’s best side during its finals campaign.
