Flow On Football - Vic NSW 25 May 2024

Ouyen Winless Despite heroic fight while Birchip Watchem break Boort and Moama miss out in Murray – the latest from around Victorian and NSW

Sunraysia has seen another low scoring classic as Redcliffs clinch a less than a goal margin over the Ouyen United Kangas. Merbein lost to Imperials who continue a break out season.  It was Cardross carding victory against Bambil in Millewa while Nangiloc nailed Werrimul.

A trip to Donald did not dampen Sea Lake Nandaly who fought off a determined Donald in a low scorer. It was Wycheproof proving they are a finals contender wheeling past Wedderburn. Nullawil were inaccurate but well in front of Charlton but it was the Big Bulls beating Boorte by over 100 points for a second week in a row.

In Hume NSW footy Rand Walbundrie Walla Giants gelled to break CDHBU and Jindera visited the Henty Swamp with the locals stuck against a fast finishing Dogs. Osborne back to their winning ways and the Murray Magpies staying touch with the top 6. Down the road in Murray Football it was last years premiers Mulwala making a run at the top two after beating Nathalia, Congupna in a one point thriller at Moama and  Numurkah Blues bouncing Barooga. Picola District it was Berrigan with Jordan Bird booting 13 to decimate Blighty. Picola United and Katamatite thrashing their lower rivals while premiers Waaia were inaccurate and therefore lost to Katunga, the match of the round saw Katandra by a goal over Jerilderie and the once easy beats Mathoura making a statement against Tocumwal. Heathcote district had a solid win for Leitchville Gunbower but nearby Lockington Bamawn lost to North Bendigo and their finals aspirations under threat. Across in Central Murray, Balranald burst the bubble for Tooleybuk and Nyah nailed Cohuna. The Mallee Eagles keep winning this time over Lake Boga.

Back in Victoria in Wimmera, the Southern Mallee Thunder dealt with Dimboola while it was Horsham Dees dealing with Stawell. Ararat got the job done against the Minyip Murtoa Burras while Nhill did nicely against the winless Warrack Eagles. Horsham District saw the top six open up a two game break over the bottom 5 as Noradjuha and Harrow beat other top 6 aspirants Pimpinio and Rupanyup.
