Body found at Murbko by Murray River among reed fire

South Australian Police are investigating after a man’s body was located in the Murray Mallee this morning.
At about 11.30 pm on Thursday 22 April, police and fire crews were called to Murbko after reports of a reed fire near the river edge.
As a result of an investigation into the cause of the fire, just before 11 am today (Friday 23 April), police located a man’s body at the foot of cliffs, approximately 7km north of Blanchetown.
Police advise that they need to investigate further to determine the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
