Megan Schutt, the Adelaide Strikers fan-favourite, appeared on the Arvo Flow Sports Hour this week and opened-up about a traumatic experience that touched her and her partner Jess’ life.

Schutt and her partner Jess both work in professional cricket and were emotionally impacted by the premature birth of their child 18 months ago.

Schutt discussed the toll the event took on her personal life and professional performance, elaborating on the support services at her disposal within the Cricket Australia and Adelaide Strikers set-ups.

Schutt also touched on the current form of her domestic club, the Adelaide Strikers, who took out two important victories in the Women’s Big Bash League last week and will play at Nuriootpa against the Sydney Thunder on November 13.
