Aryna Sabalenka and Coco Gauff set for French Open Final

World number 361 Lois Boisson's storybook Grand Slam debut has has come to an end in the semi finals at Roland Garros, after she was last night defeated convincingly by world number 2 Coco Gauff 6-1 6-2.


The former US Open Champion has advanced to her second French Open Final, after previously being the runner up to Iga Swiatek in 2022.


Swiatek - the winner of four of the past five French Open titles - will not be Gauff's opponent this time, after she was last night defeated by Aryna Sabalenka.


The clash of the titans looked set for an epic third set, before Sabalenka bageled Swiatek in the deciding set to advance with a 7-6 4-6 6-0 scoreline.


It will be Sabalenka's first French Open final appearance, as she looks to add a trophy to her one US Open and two Australian Open titles.
