The team of artists from Apparition Media have completed the final artwork on the Narrandera Water Tower.
The new addition was completed in just four days adding to the already popular attraction overlooking Narrandera.
The artwork was made possible with a grant of $28,620 from the NSW Government’s Community Building Partnership Fund with matching funds from the Council.
Narrandera Shire Mayor Cr Neville Kschenka said the artwork was a very striking and welcoming addition to the attraction overlooking Narrandera.
“The water tower already attracts numerous visitors following the regional art trail and this is sure to add to the number of visits, as more and more art trail enthusiasts hear about the latest mural addition,” Mayor Kschenka said today.
The images decided for the water tower reflect a number of iconic items recognised by people from across the Shire and is a reflection of input of ideas and suggestions from locals.
The artwork had been delayed several times as a result of the impact of Covid restrictions as the artists all travelled from Victoria. Apparition Media from Melbourne have completed all three murals on the water tower.
