Entries have opened for Rural Aid's 2026 Spirit of the Bush photography competition, inviting Australians to capture the people, landscapes and stories that define rural and regional communities.
Now in its seventh year, the competition has become an annual showcase of life on the land, highlighting the resilience, challenges and beauty of farming communities across the country.
Rural Aid Chief Executive Officer John Warlters says the competition is open to photographers of all experience levels, with some of the most memorable entries coming from people simply capturing everyday life in the bush.
Twelve winning photographs will each receive a 250-dollar prepaid Visa card, with entries closing on the 31st of July.
Entries can be submitted through Rural Aid's Spirit of the Bush webpage at ruralaid.org.au/spirit-of-the-bush, where competition details and conditions are also available.
