A second woman has died following a three-vehicle collision in Horsham earlier this month.
The collision occurred on Stawell Road, near the intersection of Williams Road, about 2.40pm on Friday, 8 October.
It’s understood a cement truck was travelling south when it collided into the rear of a white Hyundai SUV which in turn collided with a red Holden utility.
A 79-year-old Horsham woman who was travelling in the Hyundai sadly died at the scene.
Three other female occupants, an 80-year-old from Nhill, a 56-year-old and a 78-year-old both from Horsham, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Sadly, the 78-year-old woman died in hospital on Monday, 11 October.
The sole occupant of the Holden, a 64-year-old Horsham woman, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The truck driver, a 52-year-old Horsham man, was interviewed and released pending further enquiries.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage to come forward.
