RAA DOUBLES FUEL DISCOUNT FOR SCHOOL HOLIDAY WEEKEND
By Jessica Dempster
The RAA is doubling its members’ fuel discount to 20 cents per litre for the final weekend of the South Australian school holidays, in a bid to give South Aussies some relief amid ongoing high fuel prices and rising cost-of-living pressures.
The discount will be available from 12pm Friday to 11:59pm Sunday at 56 RAA partner outlets across South Australia, including 36 in regional areas.
The 20 cent per litre discount will apply to all unleaded and diesel fuel types, with members required to show and scan their RAA membership during payment.
RAA Chief Executive Officer Nick Reade says the offer is about putting money back into members’ pockets when they need it most.
“The rising cost-of-living is hitting South Australians from all sides right now – from high fuel prices to interest rate rises – so we wanted to give something back to our members,” he said.
“Whether you’re heading away or just filling up for the week ahead, doubling our fuel discount to 20c a litre means a saving of around $13 on the average tank.”
He says since the RAA first launched its 10c per litre fuel discount at the end of 2025, RAA members have saved over $5 million at the pump.
As petrol prices continue to climb, the RAA is also encouraging motorists to use its app to compare real-time fuel prices and shop around for the best available deal.
More information on the discount, including the full list of participating retailers. can be found on the RAA's website at daily.raa.com.au.
