Nominations are now open for the second annual South Australian Grain Industry Awards, which recognise innovation, leadership, and excellence in the state’s grain sector. Organised by Grain Producers SA, the event celebrates contributions to South Australia’s largest agricultural industry.
GPSA CEO Brad Perry said last year’s sold-out event at Adelaide Oval showed the strength and diversity within the sector.
“Whether it’s through innovation, sustainability, or leadership, these awards recognise those making a lasting difference,” he said.
This year’s awards include six categories such as Grain Producer of the Year, Young Grain Producer, and the Women in Grain Award. Winners will receive cash prizes, with a bursary awarded for sustainability.
The event will also see new inductees into the South Australian Grain Industry Hall of Fame.
“We encourage everyone — from growers and researchers to industry professionals — to consider nominating someone who has inspired them,” Mr Perry said.
Nominations close on Monday, 10 November, with winners announced at a gala dinner on 3 February 2026. More details are available at www.sagrainindustryawards.com.au
