A new four-million-dollar round of agricultural traceability grants has opened, aimed at strengthening Australia’s export supply chains and biosecurity systems.

The funding will support projects that improve the tracking and tracing of agricultural products, helping exporters meet regulatory requirements and maintain access to international markets.

Grants of between 50-thousand and 500-thousand dollars are available under round four of the Traceability Grants Program, with a focus on improving data systems, interoperability and industry awareness.

Agriculture Minister Julie Collins says strong traceability underpins Australia’s reputation for high-quality and sustainable food and fibre products.

Applications close on the 18th of February, with further details available through the GrantConnect website.
