Making News: Rising costs in mining sector, Aussies distrust corporate brands & 2000 govt questions


Minerals Council of Australia CEO Tanya Constable has warned the nation's mining sector is facing a number of hurdles with rising costs and failing productivity.


A Roy Morgan study has revealed the moral blindness of corporate Australia. In a survey conducted over 6 years Australian's were asked which brands they trust. In the the most recent survey data over the previous 12 months the level of distrust in brands has fallen to its lowest point.


The Albanese government has 2000 senate questions that have not been answered according to the latest figures for questions on notice.


Questions on notice gives the opposition and cross-bench Senators opportunities to ask public officials for information on government policy and programs.
