Harm averted after Clare Valley tractor incident

A member of the community acted quickly to prevent a tractor causing more damage after the driver suffered a medical incident on Thursday afternoon at Stanley Flat.

South Australia Police advise that they were called to property at Stanley Flat near Clare around 5pm yesterday after a man driving a tractor suffered a suspected medical episode while cultivating.

Flow understands that the tractor travelled through a vineyard before a witness spotted the tractor & came to the driver’s aid & stopped the tractor.

The driver was taken to Clare Hospital and treated for a minor head injury.
