Time is running out for local residents in the Federation Shire Council area to nominate for the 2022 Australia Day Awards.
Nominations for the 2022 Federation Council Australia Day Awards will close to nominations on Monday 29 November 2021.
Residents are encouraged to nominate a member of the local community whose contribution is deserving of recognition.
Federation Council Mayor Pat Bourke said this could be a friend, family member, workmate or someone you know who serves the community.
Nominations will be accepted in the following categories:
• Citizen of the Year.
• Young Citizen of the Year.
• Community Group of the Year.
• Local Achiever Awards for each town or village.
Award nominations can be completed via the online application form available from Council’s website.
Award recipients will be announced at the official Australia Day Award Ceremony on Wednesday 26 January 2022 in Corowa.
