Drug crop located at Murray Bridge

Murray Mallee police have uncovered an established cannabis crop shed in Murray Bridge East.



At about 11.45 am on Wednesday Murray Bridge police executed a drug warrant at a house in Murray Bridge East and conducted a search of the premises. Police uncovered 28 established cannabis plants being grown hydroponically in the rear shed.


Officers seized the plants, equipment, an amount of cash and contacted SA Power Networks to disconnect the power which had been illegally bypassed.


A 45-year-old man from Murray Bridge was arrested and has been charged with several drug-related offences, unlawful possession and interference with electricity supply.
