South Australian sheep, cattle and goat producers are being asked to tell their peak body their views on industry priorities, with the added bonus of being automatically in the running for a fuel voucher.
Livestock SA has released its 2022 Producer Priorities Survey to find out what SA's livestock producers want from their peak body.
CEO Travis Tobin said the annual survey helped their cattle, sheep and goat peak producer bodies advocate better policies:
“Understanding producers’ key issues and what they would like to see Livestock SA focus on for the coming year is fundamental to ensuring we can successfully represent them,” he said.
“The annual survey is an effective and efficient way for us to take the pulse of our industry so we can drive the policies and programs that will enhance the productivity and sustainability of our producers.
All South Australian cattle, sheep and goat producers that complete the survey and are automatically entered into a draw to win a $500 fuel voucher.
