Santa rains on parade of junior talent for weekend but Gawler Softball seniors crack on

The Christmas Pageant is set to be an unwelcome disruption to the Gawler Softball competition this weekend in South Australia, or perhaps a welcomed one for weary parents.

Despite the lack of juniors on show on the Gawler softball mounds on the weekend, there’ll be plenty of senior softball for punters to feast their eyes on as the action continues to ramp up.

President Veg Ingram appeared on the Flow Friday Sports Show to express her anticipation ahead of the weekend’s matches and also discussed the form of the Gawler men’s representatives, the Gawler Giants, who are also in action this weekend.
