Man arrested after attempting to start fires at Kadina

A man has been arrested after he tried to start fires at service stations in Kadina.



At about 3.35 pm on Wednesday, police were called to a service station near the Copper Coast Highway after reports that a man had tried to pour petrol into rubbish bins and start a fire.


Police also received reports from two other stations nearby where the man is alleged to have attempted to do the same.


The 25-year-old local man was charged with three counts of acts to endanger life. He was refused bail and will appear in court today.
