A NSW MP declined to Swan about in Crows colours at events celebrating the opening of new facilities at Holbrook and Urana in the state's south on the weekend.
Justin Clancy, the Liberal member for Albury, was at the two sporting grounds to hail Holbrook's new netball courts and the Crows' new changerooms with a special guest player - former Collingwood star Dane Swan.
Mr Clancy told Flow on Tuesday:
"The big part of it was seeing the big turnout at both grounds. It was fantastic to see the community turning out supporting their community sports.
"A great day at Urana with Dane Swan running around, that's always handy. Probably better than myself running around!
Mr Clancy commended the Billabong Crows president and committee for their efforts:
"Hats off to the local community, these people do a power of work behind the scenes, its testament to their good work."

For the record, the Billabong Crows trailed all day but won the match narrowly over CDHBU Power by 2 points - 5.8 to 5.6. The home side were helped in no small part by Swan's 2-goal cameo, albeit playing second fiddle to best players Zac Kerr, Dom Buntin (1 goal), Ryan Davies, Dylan Flanagan (2 goals), Matthew Anderson and Alastair Austin.
